The October 2011 edition of Yachting Monthly magazine has just reviewed the Safelink R10 as part of its ‘Tried and Tested’ feature, asking “Can a personal AIS beacon save your life?”.

It has given the product a very positive report, concluding that “If you are sailing solo or two-handed a PLB is still the best lifesaving device. But the AIS Beacon seems to trump it for large crews.”
